Many purposes for a White Window

I was thrilled to visit my dear friend for a weekend getaway and was happy to indulge in a bit of antique shopping. I am taking on a new “look” this year and for those following me on Pinterest can see all my recent pins are for the “shabby chic”. So my mission on this shopping trip is to find a rustic white window pane.

We spent a couple of hours going up and down many aisles…I want to find a window pane….I need to find a window pane. No window pane.

We stumble upon this cute shop, Petals and Potpourri because I was looking for a smudge stick (another topic) and lucky me because what a find!

Since I am in love with my white window pane and I wanted to share some wonderful creative ways to display yours:

Taking a cue from Petals and Potpourri by hanging a window from your ceiling to display battery operated flameless candles.  I’m thinking of hanging this over my bed to go with my shabby chic decor since it will add a bit of ambiance to the space

With Valentine right around the corner, here is a super cute way to display your Amour from the House of Smiths:

For your rustic wedding, try using a window pane for your reception seating chart:

Use it to serve as a backdrop to decorate a dessert table perfect for birthday parties, halloween or christmas:

Display your family or childhood photos at your wedding reception or in your home for your wedding portraits or family portraits:

And windows make great chalkboards:

How will you use your window pane?

  1. Admiring the dedication you put into your site and in depth information you present. It’s good to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same unwanted rehashed information. Wonderful read! I’ve saved your site and I’m adding your RSS feeds to my Google account.
